What are some of the things you’ve learned while working here?
I definitely learned a lot about the Commercial Real Estate industry, which was very new to me. I enjoy learning about the business model, how our software can enable these companies to operate smoothly and how having reliable software can really make a big difference in succeeding in the industry.
Is there some contribution that you’re proud of?
I really enjoyed being a part of the creation of Contactless Entry. It was a great learning experience and an opportunity to put myself into something brand new from the very beginning.
Is there something that people would be surprised to know about you?
Believe it or not, I don’t watch a lot of movies or television! I find it much more relaxing and beneficial to either watch short comedy videos on YouTube, or educational clips. Most of my time is spent with more hands on hobbies. Also, I am the go to friend when it comes to any electronic gadgets and can usually tell the quality and longevity of an item from just a glance.
If you weren’t working at Angus, what would you be doing?
I would love to open some sort of a hobby store or, enjoy a peaceful life on a farm, close to nature. Ideally, I would grow whatever essentials necessary to survive. Maybe I would do both!
What are some of your personal hobbies and interests?
I consider myself a jack of all trades! I have so many different interests from photography, aquarium/aqua-scaping and science DIY’s, remote control cars, helicopters, planes and scaled die casts. I love to take them apart and repair them.
I recently took up biking. I really enjoy taking the time to ride around the neighbourhood and simple community trails. Not quite a mountain biker just yet!
I also consider myself to be an audiophile because I enjoy listening to high quality lossless tracks on high end monitor speakers.
