What is your education and background?
I completed my Bachelor of Information and Technology in India, and then I came to Canada in 2010. I studied Information Technology Solutions, a post-graduate program, at Humber College and worked at a few companies before joining Angus Systems.
What is your role at Angus Systems and what are your main responsibilities?
I am a part of the Development team. I started as a Front-end developer, got some experience in back-end development and now, I am a full stack developer. In this role, I convert the beautiful mock-ups to working client facing web components that interact with the back-end systems.
How have your responsibilities expanded since you started working with the company?
My responsibilities have significantly changed over the 5 year period that I have been with Angus Systems. I have been given more responsibilities that allow me to not only become a full stack developer, but be involved in the business services development area of our new generations of products.
What do you like most about working at Angus Systems?
There are so many things that I like about Angus Systems! The work environment is very friendly and collaborative. Team members from other departments are always ready to help and listen, and management puts their employees first. One of the things I like most about the company is the community efforts we participate in every year and allow every employee to be a part of. I was fortunate enough to see all the good that was brought to one of the schools Angus Systems supported and it made me proud to be a part of the company.

Recently as a part of the new solutions, I worked on the health screening module that allows users to complete their daily health assessment from the Ola App. This feature was released as an initiative to help businesses keep their workplace safe during the pandemic. I am proud of this contribution because it allowed me to be a small part of a solution to the COVID pandemic.
