Fario, Customer Success Manager

Welcome to another edition of our Employee Spotlight series. Today we get to know Fario, one of our Customer Success Managers!

What is your education and background?

I have an educational background in computer science and electronics. This technical background helped me understand the functions of Angus AnyWhere quickly.

What is your role at Angus Systems and what are your main responsibilities?

As a Customer Success Manager, I am in charge of the overall client experience and relationship by understanding and responding to their technology needs, ensuring success in meeting our clients’ objectives, maximizing value through hands-on implementation of our solutions, training of our clients and advocating for their needs throughout our organization.

What do you like most about working at Angus Systems?

It’s hard for me to pinpoint what I like the most, because from day one I was impressed equally by the staff, the company, the spirit, culture and our values. Everyone has been very friendly and helpful. I love my job, and I love that there is a productive management style. I like every aspect of my job, but if I had to highlight one thing specifically that I enjoy about working here, I would say it’s the staff and the overall attitude to do better each and every day for the company and our clients. Our clients are also amazing to work with!

I think everyone is very mature and we’re working well as a team to achieve something greater. I see a future for myself here. I can say that I step out of the house with a smile on my face on my way to work. And that counts for me.”

What are some of the things you’ve learned while working here?

I learned the true meaning of “selfless team work”, in which the entire company strives to provide excellent service and support. Everyone steps in no matter what, to assist in achieving our goals by working together. I learned that once you give all you got, without expectations, the reward comes back to you one way or another. This is the spirit and the culture in our company, and I think it is also a principle that can be applied to life in general.

Is there some contribution that you’re proud of?

Since July 2018, when I joined the CSM team, I have received 20 compliments, including from our President and CEO Chris Gale and Vice President Rick Randolph, as well as from clients, who have complimented me on the quality of the job that I have done.

Is there something that people would be surprised to know about you?

I’m working on a film scenario at the same time that I’m writing my autobiography. It’s something that I’ve been working on for a while now. It highlights the adventure and the changes in my life from moving from my home country to Canada. It’s a blend of philosophical thinking mixed with other topics such as religion and politics. I’ve also incorporated some fiction into the story lines.

If you weren’t working at Angus Systems, what would you be doing?

I would probably get into music. I always wanted to sing and learn to play the piano. I also would love to be able to open a chess club one day.

What are some of your personal hobbies and interests?

My interests include playing table tennis, chess, going to the gym 3-4 times per week, and getting together with family and friends. I love watching movies and reading books – my favorite genres are history, political, suspense, adventure, and philosophical aspects of life. I’m a music lover, and I listen to any genre. I’ve been Angus Systems’ Table Tennis champion since 2016, when I joined the company.
