Naresh, Client Solutions Representative

In this month’s Employee Spotlight, we meet Naresh, a Client Solutions Representative and a future Oscar winner!

What is your education and background?

I received a diploma in Business while I was living in France.

What is your role at Angus Systems and what are your main responsibilities?

As a Client Solutions Representative, I’m responsible for troubleshooting any issues our clients are experiencing with the app, and escalating or forwarding any inquiries.

How have your responsibilities expanded since you started working with the company?

My responsibilities have increased quite a bit since I started with the company. In addition to the responsibilities that come with my role, I assist the Data Services team. Whenever a client needs a mass update I ensure the information they’ve given is correct, write a script, and then send it to the Data Services team so they can update the customer’s database.

I’m also in charge of our internal knowledge base. All the processes and troubleshooting techniques that we use in Support goes into this resource making all inquiries and solutions we encounter at Support available for future reference. Additionally, I’m the first contact when we get questions from clients about the Property Websites or Tenant Handbooks.

What do you like most about working at Angus Systems?

I really like the people here because everyone is focused on one objective. Also, Angus AnyWhere is a product that I am happy to support!

What are some of the things you’ve learned while working here?

While working here, I’ve learned SQL and HTML, helping me make basic edits for Property Websites. I’ve become quite nerdy 🙂

Is there some contribution that you’re proud of?

The relationships I’ve been able to build with clients are important to me. It’s great that they know me by my name. For me, I’m really proud that individual clients have told their colleagues to call “Naresh from Angus Systems”.

I’m also proud that I’m able to troubleshoot Property Websites for clients when they call in instead of having to escalate the inquiry to one of my colleagues. It helps that I can do basic editing while I’m on a call because it saves everyone time.

Is there something that people would be surprised to know about you?

I used to dance hip hop for 8 years and participated in competitions and shows. Once I danced in front of 15,000 people. I also wrote 2 full screenplays, so maybe one day you’ll see me at the Oscars!

If you weren’t working at Angus Systems, what would you be doing?

Realistically, helping clients in a support role at another company. Although, I’ve always wanted to be a film maker.

What are some of your personal hobbies and interests?

First of all, I’m a big fan of Game of Thrones! I’ve read all the books and watched all the episodes. I also like watching movies and TV shows, mostly fantasy and medieval. Connecting people through hosting get-togethers is a fun pastime I have. Additionally, I love travelling, and recently went on a road trip to Canada’s east coast – Halifax is beautiful.
