Welcome to another segment of Tips & Tricks. Today’s article focuses on managing your Angus AnyWhere Product and Service Notifications.
What are Product and Service Notifications?
Product and Service Notifications are email communications that are sent to users to alert them of any changes to features, functionality, or service that may impact their use of Angus AnyWhere. Product and Service Notifications are not marketing emails. They are communications that are related to your organization’s Angus AnyWhere implementation and include:
- Product Release announcements
- Service Alert notifications
- Scheduled Maintenance notifications
- Incident Report notifications
- Feature Retirement notifications (i.e. End of Support)
For planned activities, changes, and updates (such as product releases), our goal is to provide you with as much notice as possible to prepare for the change, especially if there is an action you need to take. Additionally, reminders may be sent leading up to that change to ensure users are aware and completely prepared. For unplanned activities, such as service incidents, our goal is to share information with you as quickly as possible, keeping you informed with proactive notification.
Who Should Subscribe to Product and Service Notifications?
We recommend that you have at least one person at your property subscribed to receive Announcements and Services Alerts. Management staff may want to subscribe to Announcement and Service Alerts so that they are kept up to date with the status of Angus AnyWhere. For staff on site, Service Alerts may be sufficient.
To manage the types of notifications you’d like to receive, please follow the steps listed below:
Step 1 – Log into Angus AnyWhere and click on the dropdown arrow beside your username to select My Profile.

Step 2 – When you’re in the My Profile area, navigate to the Subscriptions card and choose Edit.

Step 3 – Ensure that your Subscriptions are enabled and that the correct email address is entered in the Email field.

Step 4 – Then scroll to the bottom of the dialogue box and check off Service Alerts and Announcements.

Please note: Product and Service notifications are sent from support@angus-systems.com. To ensure our notifications are not filtered into your Spam, Junk or Bulk Mail folder, select the Add/Save to Address Book function in your email browser and follow the appropriate instructions.
