On August 26th and 27th a group from Angus Systems will be taking part in the 35th annual Hood To Coast Relay in Oregon to support both the American Cancer Society and the Canadian Cancer Society. The group of runners is a Can-Am team that includes Paul G, Matt M, Christopher D, Audrey and 6 U.S. based friends, some of whom ran the Reach The Beach Relay last September in New Hampshire with Paul.
Team One Step Closer will be running 200 miles (320 km) from the start on Mt. Hood to the finish line on the Pacific coast, in what is known as “The Mother of All Relays”. The race begins on the Friday morning and runs through the night until Saturday afternoon, finishing on the beach in Seaside, OR.
Funds will enable investments in ground breaking cancer research and help provide compassionate support services to people living with cancer and their families in Canada and the U.S.
All of us at Angus Systems are very proud of Team One Step Closer – we will be cheering the team on as they prepare for race day and on the big day! Stay tuned for a post race report from Team One Step Closer.
